Big Fat Exciting News!

Hey all!

Just a quick note to fill you in on the happenings at Isaac’s Well. First off, we met with a realtor this morning and put in the offer for our new building! So be in agreement with us as we take this next step. God has called us here to change lives, change minds and push back darkness!

Secondly, Pastor’s speaking date book is filling up fast! There are revivals planned in Minnesota, Nebraska, New York State, Pennsylvania and Maine just to start with!

Thirdly, we are starting a new church in addition to the ones already existing in Wisconsin and Sauk Centre, Minnesota! We are holding our first service in the first week of October in Pennsylvania, back where we came from. We are very excited about this and can see the favor and hand of God all over it. Keep it in prayer too if you would.

So, God is still good and still on the throne. Makes you feel all tingly, doesn’t it?

Thank You.

To all those who make up the churches of Isaac’s Well in Darlington and in Sauk Centre, those who pray for us and support us, who read our blogs, those of you who’ve been with us through thick and thin….we would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 1 Th 2:19 You are our hope, our joy, and our crown when we stand before Jesus on His return.

American Pentecost

Walking by faith can be one of the most confusing and disappointing processes that a Christian can endure. To pray is one thing but to pray and consistently see results is quite another. This is proven out by the 900 pound gorilla in our churches that everyone sees but no one discusses; lack of prayer. I have seen this not only in my own churches but also in the majority of churches that I visit as a healing evangelist. The prayer meeting has gone the way of the testimony service and it is easy to see why- you just can’t have testimonies without prayer.

This is not the fault of the people. People simply can’t be excited about prayer when they do not see the results that they expected to see. And hyperbole will only take you so far as a preacher. They may get excited about your one liners…

Changes

While the church relocates from our old building on hwy 23 to our new building in Darlington, we are meeting at 805 Main St. in town. It looks like we will quickly outgrow our space before taking possession of the new building and so we will be moving to multiple services, the first at 9:00 am, the second at 10:30 am. Sign-up sheets will be available for you to choose a service this coming Sunday during our regular service time of 10:30 am.

Also, we will be setting up classes in all of our towns this coming Sunday. Classes will meet in homes once a week and will be focused on ruling their locality through prayer, service, evangelism and dominion. Be sure to be a part of this!

The word that is being released will change your entire life. So, be sure not to miss a Sunday service or the Wednesday night bible study.

Thanks for being a part of what God is doing and we are all so excited about this new level of faith, freedom and dominion!

See you at the next service!

Bring us your stuff!

Isaac’s Well is participating in the local garage sale day this year. So, starting this week, bring us all of your stuff that is in decent shape and can be resold. All of the proceeds go to the church, so its a great cause!

Locals Only Friday!

It is that time again! Tonight, Friday the 9th, we are hosting our second Locals Only Friday at Isaac’s Well.

In case you don’t know, Locals Only Friday is an event held at The Coffee Joint where we highlight a local business. The business can be family-owned but it must be non-corporate. We try and highlight businesses that are organic or practice sustainability or even local artisans and craftsman.

This month, the featured business is King’s Hill Farm located at 19370 Highway G in Mineral Point, WI. They are an organic CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm where interns come from all over to stay with them and help out on the farm. We are really excited to try out their edible forest this year!

So, come by and check them out tonight and see how you can get a regular diet free of chemicals and pesticides right here in your own backyard!

So stop by The Coffee Joint tonight from 6-8pm. Grab some coffee, eat some pie and get to know a local business!
